Q. on OTL projrct.

210.118.16.28

Hi.

I'm building 6c33c OTL based the very same schematics

of Andrea Ciuffoli's cheap version 8.2 OCL.

It adopted varifed Futterman's configuration and

two 6c33c's are used per channel. Please refer to

http://members.aol.com/aria3/otlpaper/otlhist.htm

(I'm very sorry that Andrea Ciuffoli's homepage seems not

to work properly now.)

Anyway all the schematics of this kind show the referece

of negative bias for upper output tube is the cathod of

upper 6c33c.(It also coincide with speaker output.)

So two fully independant negative bias must be provided

for upper output tube. (R + L)

My question goes now.

If the referece of negative bias for upper 6c33c

is grounded (0V), what has become of it?

I'm in short of transformer tabs for negative biases, so

want to reduce the demand for negative biases.

Any reply will be much appreciated.

Thanks!
