Sounds like it worked well.I actually have some 2" pvc piping that I am going to use OVER the threaded rods in my next rack. Looks cool (though not as cool as the Radio Shack tubing) and should give added strength. I am going to go for a 'point' suspended-shelf rack, a la Lovan, next time around.
