I'd like to find out what people think about the Monster Cable AVS 2000 to provide a clean stable power source and surge protection. Is this item more for home theatres, or stereo systems? I'm thinking about using it with my stereo system. Would there be a noticeable difference in sound? I live in a smaller city, and the power seems to be fairly clean. At the moment I have my amp, pre-amp and CD player plugged directly into 2 dedicated 20 amp lines. I would appreciate any advice.
