You are right about that mutual inductive coupling of physically separated components. At the moment it seems it is the way it works, little later it reads something about the voltages and their cancellation. This have more sense since the only thing BG mentions about their usage considers the leads and connections, not their mutual position. Also, someone wrote that everything has something with BG’s mechanical properties… Renown of the Black Gate should be enough to take serious their claims. And keep in mind that the capacitors effectiveness till some frequency and capacitor’s impedance minimum are not the same things.
