The advantage to better outlets,plugs,cords etc. is badly overhyped. You have a two wire cord as the power supply consists of plus A/C and ground. A three wire setup adds a second ground line, referred to as neutral, which separately grounds to the amp chassis. This might help with performance a bit, but you have to rewire the connections inside the amp, which can be disastrous if you screw it up. Sonically the best upgrade potential starts at the speakers and works back through the audio chain from there. You get the least bang for the buck at the outlet end unless you go to a transformer balanced A/C line, and that is not a cheap mod. The only mod to the A/C end I can recommend short of a balanced A/C line is to have all your connections coated with silicone grease of the same sort used on automobile spark plug boots.
