When I was upgrading my Phase Linear 400 power amp I seen something like this across the speaker output binding post on the inside of the amp, it was 2 resistors in paralell with a cap in series with the resistors. I don't know the values of the resistors off hand but the cap was .1uF 250V, when I upgraded the binding post and that .1uF cap with Wima .1uF 250V I just put them back where they were. Amp sounds great.Steve...
