Tweakers' Asylum Tweaks for systems, rooms and Do It Yourself (DIY) help. FAQ. |

It is probably no surprise to most of you if I say that I seem to experience different quality of sound during different times of the day. My question is: what is the vital step to "cure" this? Someone has suggested that my problem stems from differences in the voltage as other consumers "suck up the juice" and as voltage drops my sound worsens.I had thought of putting in some filters and perhaps putting in some Balanced AC power ala JR recipe but not sure if I am getting to the root of the problem.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? Or is it a case of trial and error? If so, what should I preferably put in first? Filters, AC Balanced power or Voltage Regulator?
Thanks!
