Hi,
Try sanding the mark out with some 600 grit sandpaper. Wipe the area with a damp rag to remove any sanding dust. Let the surface dry completely. Use a good quality , but very small, paintbrush and Minwax black laquer paint to repaint the area. Minwax has its polyurethane gloss in the paint. You should be able to fix it with 1 or 2 coats.
