The only difference between the original Aurio 1.0 and those that follow is that the depression in which the bearing ride is deeper. This means that the bearings do not get to the side of the depression as easily. I think it detracts from the sound and will get no more other than the single set of Pros I have.I do carefully level my Mana shelves and use Siltech G5 cables and have used very stiff power cords. Patience is what it takes, but the rewards are great.
I agree that the Aurios can make sound harsh, but that is the component not the Aurios. Tungsten carbide 7/16" balls on top reduce the leveling problem somewhat.
