A way of allowing a bass trap to act as one large air voilume internally, despite the presence of a support disc in the middle.This would mean cutting the inner support disc/s such that they had a "hollow" center with a 2-3" support rim, or had enough holes of 2" or more diameter to effect the pressure transfer.
