Hey J.Recently burning in my multichannel universal player I used classical DVD-As, SACD's and the BassZone test cd on loop to make sure I worked out the various chipsets and output circuits.
I've used my Ocean Waves Environments disc on speakers for the reason you cite. Sweeps and tones wig out neighbors fer sure...
