it has its own seperate power supply. The tube part is on its own PCB. In the PCB, I can see 2 rectifier bridges with some wires coming in from the transformer. It also has a voltage regulator, 1 transformer-size choke and a hi-ripple capacitor bank.I assume that this means that it has it's own power supply.So to sum up, there are 2 PCB in the player. 2 wires is connected from main PCB to tube pcb for signals. It's labeled left/right channel. There's another one that I think controls the "mute" function as it's connected after the tubes but just before the relays. I assume it's a relay cause it's looks like one.
