last year i went down to a local masonry. they let me look through their "scrap", where i found a nice piece of uba tuba verde (as seen on the web for $200-$400). the forman said he'd cut it for a dozen cookies, and the deal was done. i like the brass idea. it looks like i've another industial-type trip coming up.
