I don't know why, but the transport loves these diodes. Even Black Sabbath "Paranoid" is listenable! This used to be hard, hashy, compressed sounding. Still doesn't sound great, but the hash and hardness dropped back a bunch. Other music, and especially sound effects (wind at the start of Pink Floyd "Meddle") all sounds far less "switchy", my new term for digital whiners. Everybody, get some new diodes. This has truly transformed my front end. My bag of 16 is empty.
NOTE- this is not for weak solderers. You should have experience working around boards so as not to lift traces when removing original diodes.
