whattacoincidence!i built Thorstens el cheapo opa627 based phono preamp (MM only) and finally socketed the pup. have a pair of 604's to compare with 627's and 637bp's (top o the line). hopefully in a few days after the show this weekend i'll be able to make a meaningful comparison.
