The transport will surely benefit most- although tubes need a good base too (maybe you get another slab?)
It is definetly a good idea to separate the maple from your rack with rubber, cones, whatever- decoupling works wonders with drives, etc. I've done so with my TT and am looking for a granite slab for my CDP, too.
