I was looking in my amp to check the viability of replacing the power cord. I noticed a cap in the power supply section that had a small area of, what looks like, corrosion on one end around the edge of the seal (heat shrink).I know it is not corrosion, but that is what it looked like. It is a small patch of bubbled brown discharge, dry and about the size of 1/4 of a pencil eraser.
What is it and does the cap need to be replaced? My amp is operating normally and sounding fantastic.
