Rino,Polypropylene cap will work in any place where mylar works (provided the capacitance and voltage rating are the same and that it fits) with at least not worse results than mylar. Other types (like polystyrene) may be even better but it depends on the circuit layout (e.g. the same polystyrene can melt in some places where mylar works fine).
