what if I took some craftsman C-clamps and tightened them ever so snug right on either side of the box, right in the middle. Would this reduce some of the resonance? If I put something inbetween the clamp and the speaker it should cause no damage, and the alteration wouldn't be permanant. Then I could place some books or something on the top to reduce resonance from the top. What do you think?
