I said clearly that it costs more, and I gave resons why I still recommend it: it takes a hell of a work to build and test and tweak new speakers, so why not going for better parts? It will be always the personal choice anyway.My results will be posted in near future but only after I can proudly announce I got it right. I cant say that now and I am looking forward to some 2-3 free evenings when I can finnish playing with different XO's and stuffing of midrange.
My main problem is with bass - it goes low, it is clean and very "informative" but lacks the "gut massage" impact that I hear at live events. MAybe it is asking too much, considering that I have huuge living room with open walls to the rest of the flat. Maybe it is the price for so super clean bass without resonant overhang (i use sealed boxes).
