Hi Glenn,
Thanks for the caution.To clarify : -
So in creating a voltage divider, am i right that i will eventually end up with a resistor (see Ra in schematic below) in series along the signal path (before R617/R618 and HDAM) ; and also another resistor (see Rb) added to ground (before Ra) ?(please ignore the dots)
---Opamp output----------Ra---R617----HDAM circuitry-----
...................................|
..................................Rb
...................................|
..............................GroundIn reference to Bobwire's post, i should use a 50K ohm potmeter and adjust as required. And then Ra will be what i measure across the potmeter input and "wiper" ; and Rb will be as measured across "wiper" and ground ?
Actually, are the original resistors R617 (and R618) required then ?
And position of this voltage divider is best located before the HDAM than after the HDAM ?
Is doing this harmful to the sound quality ?Thanks a lot for your help.
