Thanks Jon!shortly after i posted this message i found the references on the Asylum to the long discussed "Belden 89259"... after reading it i realized that it sounded like the right thing for my situation!
i know have about 65ft of the 89259 on order from "TakeFive" in Canada and have a couple of WBT connectors on order from PartsExpress.
I happen to be using the RichterScale III to drive the line to go to the sub (ACI Titan II LE) and the line levels are pretty high thru the RichterScale (and adjustable). I already have an inexpensive 60' RCA IC for this application, but i'm just not happy with the sound... i believe the bass is not as tight or crisp as with a shorter run...
The output inpendence on the RichterScale is 150ohm and an ouput level of 7Vrms (max). I'm a biologist, but not proficient in electronics! do these figures jive for the Belden?
Thanks again for your input!
Sam
