I INVITE YOU to look at a young DIYer's Turntable (just finished)

hello all, its is finally finished !

add one project 1.2 turntable purchased for 100 dollars australian

plus 70 dollars australian for raw materials such as wood granite and glass and other little bits

plus two long months without a turntable

equals one very happy 18 year old diyer (financially challenged) and a visually and sonically stunning tt - see below

since the pictures i have hooked her fully up with a diy ac motor regulator and phonostage, i sat down very late at night, and locked her onto 33 1/3 with darkside clamped down, and i was amazed, she was everything i hoped she would be

i was going to go into construction details but it all seems pretty self explainitory, i must add though that having acces to the binns of a metal workshop and acces to a metal lathe is a godsend and that granite is an absolute slut to cut/drill but none the less i am very interested to see what u think and am happy to answer any questions :)

some more pics can be found at

http://www.photo.net/photodb/presentation.tcl?presentation_id=147929

i recommend u check them out :)

i think i need a better camera (this just lacks the fidlity, its just so stunning in real life
