Transformers specs are hard to nail down and different vendors have different formulae for achieving them, but I have not yet seen a single one - in decades - that would hit it squarely on. Usually you are talking about small differences - under 15% in most cases - that are correctable on the next round.Better quality is hard to define, and you are not giving us much info, but Avel is one of very high qualily companies. I mention it because they also have broad line of standard parts. Plitron does not too, I believe. I think their site is www.avellindberg.com Many of our prototypes have started with their standard parts, sometimes modified.
