Tweakers' Asylum Tweaks for systems, rooms and Do It Yourself (DIY) help. FAQ. |

I had 2 dedicated 20 amp mc type 12ga power lines installed for my audio and video systems. The breakers are on the same side of the panel one above the other. I get a buzz through my speakers on one of the lines(the one below the top one on the panel) that is eliminated when using a cheater plug on my amp. The buzz is also present with everything disconnected from the amp if i don't use the cheater plug.I didn't have this before the dedicated lines.
Any insights or thought on what is causing this before I call the electrician back? thanks...ken
