Hi Wally,Well, the operational voltage range for the CLC428 is 5V - 14V whereas the LM6172 is 5.5V - 36V. Interestingly, the CLC428 is listed as an improvement over the LM6172.... specifically:
CLC428 - improved bandwidth, slew rate, maximum supply voltage and input bias current. I noted the harmonic distortion was much lower and the settling time 5X better.
