I would rather start by upgrading signal pass caps. Input cap is probably around 1 microF. Replace for Infinicap or other good brand of your choice.In the feedback path you should have an Electrolitic. Put a good 0.22 microF in parallel.
Also consider replacing the resistors in the feedback path to good quality ones.
Add a lot of X-rated 1 microF caps across the mains input.
