I've upgraded the opamps in my phono section (TL071 and 5534) to OPA627. I wanted to put a bypass cap (0,01uF) across the +/- supply, switched it on and.....wow wat a noise it sounded like a bad tuned AM radio and receiving something. So I uninstalled the caps, still noise. Switched from MC to MM mode and back to MC mode and the noise was gone.
It all sounds quite good now but what was going on?regards,
Eric
