Thank you once again - you just solved my speaker stand problem this time...

210.50.56.188

I have a Mod Squad SoftShoe/Tip Toe combination between my monitors and their stands. Every time I remove the grills, the Tip Toes slide on the stand top plate slightly, changing the speaker location and toe-in.

Putting felt dots under the Tip Toe point took about 2 minutes and seems to have stopped the problem, at least on one remove/replace operation. Even if it doesn't stop it entirely, it has to have reduced it immensely. I'd been wondering for a while what I could use and dithering over choices, and your comment was just what I needed at just the right time.

I think this tip (pun intended) deserves a lot wider application and use.

Many thanks yet again for useful input.
