I wasn't trying to be arcane. Do you have a VOM / DVM? A voltmeter, that is? If not, then you need either an impulse to learn this stuff, or a tech.You've swapped tubes from channel to channel, and the fault did not move with the tubes; that was a good test, and showed you that the tubes are not at fault. The output tranny is a possibility, but not likely unless the output tube(s) failed short on that side, which we've already verified, right? Everything left (not tubes or transformers) is a cheap fix; you've just got to find the guilty party. Post me privately, and maybe we can figure it out.
