When you throw it on a cooker, are'nt you reducing the time it will spend in it's "sweet spot"? If a cable breaks in and improves, how long before you need to start thinking about replacing them due to age? Maybe they should have warning label or "buy before" and expiration dates. Jeez, glad I'm broke. I'll just enjoy my PBJ's with a PBJ and 'nanner sammich.
