Be carefull what you do !If you change the cap to set the cut-off point down to 2500Hz,
you will increase the power wich your tweeter has to handle.
That means you will blow it up much faster than without the change.If your calculations are OK and there is nothing wrong with your
crossover, than you should replace your tweeter.To build speakers which sound good is hard. I've used to build
speakers for my self and for friends (my own designs), but I've
got to a point where I couldn't reach the quality of sound of
speakers which one could buy. So I gave it up and now I'm the owner
of some fine B&W speakers.Good luck !!!
