I am using .33uf as an input capacitor as a high pass filter on an amplifier that rolls off at 80Hz (6db). I use an active 24db x-over to the sub amp. The capacitor is the only one in the signal path. I now have a Hovland .22uf and a RTX .1uf and a .01 Infini cap to make up the .33uf. I am trying to keep the input to ground low as I find that this sounds best in this setup. Also less IC cable signature at the lower Z input.
What is the "best" chioce for a no-compromise capacitor for this application?
