No, they are not the Exotica primes which have copper foil and direct gold plated OFC wiring.....I started buying these from Precision Audio Supply about 15 years ago as I recall to be used in my main amp to roll off at 100hz so I could use subwoofers.....They worked out so well I ordered some for my Vendetta phono stage and shared the find with Richard Lees who shared the find with Pytr Mare who then shared it with Jonathan Carr.....We currently use these in Blowtorch preamp and, looking at the pictures on Jonathan's site, he uses them in the Connoisseur preamp as well....I also use these in all the analog and digital signal paths of the DAC I build with Demian Martin known as the Number Cruncher with nice results....Have done the testing now for over a decade and these just plain sing, but are over tens times the pricing of polystyrene/tin caps such as the REL RT....Worth it? You bet!
