I'll listen for a while before I get to the analog stage to get a feel of what happened so far. But I am quite sure there is a lot of room for tweaking there, plus on the digital side the clock, and some shielding/dampening. I may not opt for the resistor I/V solution, to have more similar input levels at the pre; I am more tempted by an op amp based balanced output. The tube output stage looks alluring but I never worked with tubes before so I am a bit timid here...MBK
