Hello Everyone,
I have an Onkyo DX1400 (rather low-end of the spectrum) that I just upgraded the op-amp on from a JRC5532 to a OPA2604. Big difference in clarity, but at the small sacrifice of some low frequency info (maybe the JRC chip was bass-heavy, I'm not sure how close the output is to a flat frequency response, before or after the swap).
My quesion is, given the aformentioned make & model of player, what other worthwhile mods can be done?
