The subject of parallel (piggy-back) dac chips has been discussed here before, but I was wondering about a triple dac configuration. In Sony's XA777ES player, when listening in stereo, all 6 DSD chips are used (3 per channel). From the comments on the HI-REZ forum, the sound is kicked up a notch over the normal configuration. From the search feature here at AA, Ric Shultz (EVS), Monarchy Audio and Accuphase are advocates/users of a parallel dac chip configuration. Any comments or references for a triple?
