On the tube preamp I have, the volume control utilizing the remote increases or decreases the playback level either too much or too little. I have had no choice but to adjust manually in accordance with the recording or specific to the particular passages of music playing at the time which tends to be a real nuisance depending on how many times one has to do it. Is there anything I can do? Assuming adjustments must be made within the preamp but possibly the remote control. Thanks!
