Keep the new Fluke 111 unit in mind. I bought a Fluke 79 MkIII, but if the 111 had been out at the same time I would have bought it instead (an extra $20 buys you a display backlight). This is the first website I came across that had prices for the newer 110 series (I have never dealt with this dealer):
http://www.testequity.com/products/885/I also have a few cheaper meters (I bought a Metek with a RS-232 interface as the Flukes are out of my price range), and I must say it is a lot nicer working with the Fluke. The readings are acquired quicker, and the readings seem to be more stable. The Flukes also now come with lifetime warranties; the Metek had only a year.
