I've got an older Kenwood KC-X1 Prologic Processor/Preamp. This is a THX unit and was part of their top of the line Level 3 series. While it's a good unit, it doesn't have 5.1 analog inputs to use a DVD player with built in DD/DTS decoder. I'd like to add this feature. I know that MSB can do it, but it costs almost $400, plus the shipping to the US and back (I'm in Canada). Has anyone ever done something like this? Any advice? I think I should be able to patch in after the prologic processing but before the volume control, maybe with some buffers.Any advice?
Thanks
RonS
