thanks Greg. Looks like you have been here before. I have learned a lot through the archives but still have a very basic question. Is a cable made up of a "hot" and a "ground" so when I put a resistor in paralel it really is connecting from the "hot" to the "ground" wire of the interconnect?Scott W
