Anyone ever use Target Heavy Metal to fill racks??

An Audiogon dealer listed Target stands and a link to Target's site, which had heavy metal in its catalog. A carbon/pearlite mix that I don't find mentioned in searching the archives. Any benefits to using this or a DIY alternative rather than sand or lead??
