Anyone have any experience regarding these two CD treatments? I recently purchased a bottle of Optrix and have used it on about eight discs. The results thus far have been infuriating. While I have noticed an improvement in low-level detail retrieval, the sonic improvement has come at a price: each and every disc has taken on a streaked/mottled appearance--and this after following the instructions to a T (2 sprays on play side, dab dry; 3 more sprays on wipe side, dab dry; and 2 sprays on label side, let dry). An audiophile friend recently told me about Auric Illuminator, which he says is extremely good and doesn't leave any such streaking or mottling. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
