After many months of staring at the Pink Panther in the corners, I finally got my four roll traps covered with a grill cloth type material. My sister-in-law sewed me some socks for them and they definitely look better. They are still slightly lumpy looking but passed WAF.Without the traps, my 30'x15' room had a low frequency node that was kinda "whoomy" on really low bass notes. I realize that having major room dimensions as multiples of each other is not optimum! It sounded (and felt) like a wave rolling at me. It was fun on some music but ultimately got irritating. The Q&D traps tamed it completely.
I wish to thank Mr. Risch again for his helpful DIY projects. Although hidden from view, there are some DIY room lenses directly behind the Acoustats. Next I want to build some panels for the back wall.
