In Reply to: I need advise to modify my CDM1 crossover & interconnect wire posted by b06 on November 6, 2001 at 03:14:11:
1. Mount the crossover outboard
2. Swap ferrite core inductor for multistrand air core.
3. Chuck the Bennic caps and use something good (Kimber/MIT/Arcotronics etc even Solen)
4. Change coffin resistor for Dale or Mills
5. Get rid of the push on connectors and solder to the connectors.
6. Use 20G single strand throughout.
7. Tighten the bass/mid driver screws from time-to-timeDifferences: Night and Day
