Do the right thing

hifitommy et al:

I've been thinking about this and may find myself agreeing with you.

I truthfully stated my intentions of NOT starting a business with Hip Joints. The responses I've received (in this forum, via e-mail and from my contacts with three decades worth of other audio enthusiasts) suggest there is a chance I should re-think this.

I put up the post that started this string in order to complete a number of posts I've put up regarding roller bearings in general and Hip Joints in particular. I figured there are those who may be interested in Hip Joints but not interested in designing their own, having them machined, testing, etc.

Honestly, I can see it both ways: a means of informing those who've followed my (and others') posts on the subject (which I don't see as an ad) but also see how it could be viewed as an ad.

This forum is one of my favorite and most valued visiting places on the web. I wouldn't want to do anything that went against the forum rules. With this in mind, I leave it to public opinion and moreso to the moderators to determine whether the post (or entire string) should be deleted.

I value this community and really mean it when I say...
Happy Listening!

Barry
