Dan,I'm almost ready to order my HE10.1 kit! I've moved in to my new house and done most of the little projects that come with a move into a new home, so I'm ready to tackle my new speaker project!
I'm particularly interested in this thread because I have the same concern as Ugo. For the last little while I've been scouring the internet for all I can find on people's impressions of the HE10.1, pictures, etc from the VSAC show and I too think that when I build my HE10.1's that I would want to add some bass to them. Sure it would be easy to just add a subwoofer and call it a day, but I like the first suggestion you mentioned above better. How easy would it be to make it a 2.5-way tower by adding a second 10" or 12" woofer? Is there a simple solution you could recommend? Feel free to e-mail me offline if you wish.
Thanks,
Colin
