Thanks to both of you!I did redo the solder on the mounting tabs of both the problem cans but that didn't help.
I don't think that any moisture can be the problem because the tuner is in use virtually everyday for several hours.If I was to desolder the mounting tabs, would the can just pull right off the board in one piece without hurting anything? Would I be able to get a good enough look at the caps inside the can to see if there is a problem? I've done some work on the tuner including an alignment. It has worked flawlessly up until now. No drift, the eye closes all the way and I'd hate to just have to move on to another if it's something that I could fix. Even if it means some tedious work.
