Ya gets wot ya pays for ! signal interfaces are NO place to skimp. If you want the best sonics available bite the bullet and go with Vampire OFC RCA's (male AND female). These are made of Oxygen Free Copper (OFC) and have the gold plating layed directly over the copper, and teflon insulation. I have compared the sonics of the Vampires to every other 'quality' RCA I could find, including WBTs (uuugh ! Pretty enough to wear around your neck but POOR sonics & VERY over-priced) and the Vampires are in class by themselves......NO CONTEST. Bite the bullet and go for the gold, your ears will be glad you did.Be sure to use a good grade of silver solder (again, I prefer Vampire) and SOLDER THE GROUND FLAGS TO THE BODY OF THe RCA'S AND BE SURE TO ISOLATE THEM FROM THE CHASISS W/THE INCLUDED WASHERS (you'll have to 'open up' the mounting holes to 1/2" dia.)
Happy Listening !
