Hi,I bought an old NEC CD ROM recently to use as a CD player. After opening up the casing, I realise that I could probably adapt this thing to use as a in car CD player. All I need is to provide a 5V and 12V supply to the CD ROM. Could I use appropriate voltage regulators to achieve this ? I am guessing that I probably will ony need very small caps b4 the regulator and feed the output to the CD ROM. Is this practical ?
Regards,
Joe LG
